Basic Overview of STP polymer

At room temperature, moisture and in the presence of appropriate catalysts, the alkoxy group in the terminal silane group will rapidly hydrolyze into silanol group. These silanol groups then undergo condensation reactions to form an elastic, three-dimensional network structure. Since no free NCO groups or alcohols are generated during the curing process, the material cures without bubble formation, pollution, or unpleasant odors while maintaining excellent mechanical properties.
